Start with reading. Try to read books on different niches like health, finance, mindset, love, and spirituality. While reading, try to create that scenario in your mind. 

Think about what the writer was thinking when he wrote this text. Try to create an exact situation in your mind. If you enjoy this process, this world of words feels known to you, then you can move ahead. Invest more time at this stage, as this will give you better clarity and save your time.  

2. Identify Your Interest

While reading books, try to figure out which types of books you like. If you like to read about health care, go ahead in that niche. Now, start writing with small tasks, 3-4 lines, small paragraphs, and increase the length gradually. When we start writing, we will face difficulty with vocabulary and sentence formation. 

This happens because you are in the initial phase. Sometimes, you may feel blank. There are hundreds of thoughts present in your mind, but you can not write them down. Regular reading and writing practice will help you to overcome this situation. 

3. Make an Account on the Official Website

Now, it’s time to enter the world of writing. Open your account on an official website where the writer and the reader are present. I have started my writing journey with “Medium”. Follow like-minded writers, read their content, and start writing articles. Initially, it may feel difficult, but eventually you will get familiar with the writing. This will give you more clarity about your Inner-calling-Content Writing.

4. Identify Your Inner-calling-Content Writing 

Content writing itself is a vast field. Do research on different types of content writing, gather more information on each type, and then decide your next path. At this time, your task is to learn more about content writing. I started my earning journey with a product-based company. 5. Explore Different Platforms

Make an account on Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, and an Upwork-like platform. On LinkedIn, make connections with other content writers. Read what they are talking about, comment, share, and try to become part of that circle. This gives you more knowledge about your field and potential opportunities in the field.

6. Do Different Courses

Free and paid courses are the best options for enhancing skills.  I have started with a content writing course and digital marketing courses. With these two courses, I started my earnings. Now, I am focusing on technical content writing, so I am learning GitHub from Udemy.

Once you confirm your niche and content type, go ahead with this. Content writing offers many options. Open your website, YouTube channel, do a full-time job, or do freelancing. After doing a 1-year full-time job, I started my website, which you are on right now. My next target is to join next full-time job, and, along with this, I am doing freelancing.
